2025 TSP EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION |
Deadline: FRIDAY, November 29, 2024 at 5PM
The Texas Society of Pathologists Educational Foundation was established to encourage education and research in the field of pathology.
The foundation is offering up to five (5) scholarships of up to $500 each. Additionally, the V.O. Speights Scholarship in Pathology awards up to $1000 for one outstanding application meriting additional funding.
Pathology residents, fellows or medical students interested in pathology as a career may apply and must be active members with the TSP. Only ONE application needs to be submitted to be considered for all TSP Educational Foundation scholarships.
Past scholarships have been awarded to fund a variety of endeavors including investigation research, externship travel, materials (e.g. books, software) to obtain special training, and travel to a meeting (presentation or other active involvement at a meeting is prioritized over simply attending). Other uses (e.g. pathology-associated community service or education projects) are also encouraged. NOTE: Scholarships are NOT awarded/approved to cover past projects that have been or will be completed at the time funds are awarded. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Therefore, please be sure to include all required documents and information by the November 29, 2024 deadline!
