WRA Response - Omand Park Tree Loss

Good news, Manitoba Hydro is paying the City of Winnipeg to replant trees in Omand Park. The City of Winnipeg will do the planning and tree planting and they have agreed to involved the community. Please let us know your ideas for the types of trees. The City forestry staff will map the park and have other planting sites in the park besides the area where trees were removed by Manitoba Hydro. Thanks for your input and caring for our community.
