WELCOME CURLS/GEMS
Hello GEMS and Curls (aka Curly Gems)! The Puerto Rico Winter Getaway, in collaboration with Girls En Motion and Curlfriend Abroad is quickly approaching, and your feedback is important to us, in order to help us plan an itinerary that works best for the majority.
As a group, there will be at least one planned activity, such as a group dinner on Friday night, or breakfast on Saturday morning, that will serve as an official "Meet & Greet". This is where you will get to personally meet other travelers, and find out which guests will be going on the same excursions as you. Relationship building is key, and makes for a more enjoyable experience. More details to follow.
How itinerary planning works....

How itinerary planning works....
- Survey is sent to guests to receive feedback
- Responses are received and tallied
- Group will be notified of "majority vote" excursions, and estimated cost per person
- Agenda will be planned based on this information
- A final list of names, based on your chosen excursion(s), will be emailed. Final cost per person and other details will be provided at this time
- Survey will be sent out requiring electronic signature of each traveler, confirming excursion(s) selection or "opt-out" of group activities. Confirming will hold you financially accountable . Opt-Out eliminates any financial responsibility, but there are no guarantees of available space if you change your mind.
- Non-refundable deposits for your selected excursion will be collected
- Final payments to be collected 1-2 weeks prior to travel
Private excursions are always the preferred method of travel, therefore, costs will vary based on number of guests attending. Pricing will include transportation to/from the hotel, entry fees, and tour guide costs, if relevant. Tips will NOT be included, unless otherwise stated.
Keep in mind excursions are NOT mandatory! Each traveler is welcomed to book/plan an itinerary that works best for you. Lots of leisure time will also be built into the itinerary.

*** Please note, excursions are optional, and have NOT been included with your trip cost. You are welcome to Opt-Out of all planned group excursions. This process helps each guests better plan financially for a vacation that works best for their budget and travel preference.
