Tribal Training for Caltrans Regional Planners Online Course

The Caltrans Native American Liaison Branch has contracted the National Indian Justice Center to develop the Tribal Training for Caltrans Regional Planners online course.

The purpose is to help Caltrans planners better provide MPOs and RTPAs with an understanding of the complexities involved in engaging tribes on a regional and statewide basis in the development of their long-range transportation plans and programming documents. In addition to helping develop cultural competencies and procedures to consult and coordinate with tribes more effectively.

This online training course is for Caltrans Regional Planning, District Native American Liaisons, and staff members of MPOs and RTPAs.
