The core aims that the group have agreed upon are:
- To strengthen relationships and effective collaboration between NGOs in Ghana working in school-based climate and wider nature-based education
- To work collaboratively to analyse needs ahead of creating resources and MEL approaches that could advance the collective quality and relevance of climate education in Ghana.
- To create an online hub for collaboration on WhatsApp and on a website for climate education practitioners in Ghana to increase access to funding, collaboration and learning opportunities.
- To advocate for further integration of climate and nature-based education in schools and community spaces through social media, media, government partnerships and wider strategies.
In 2026, the community have decided to expand their membership, opening applications to all organisations in Ghana who have a passion and commitment to climate or nature-based education. Please complete this form by Sunday 31st May 2026. The application will be reviewed by members of the existing CECOP community, with aligned candidates moving to the interview stage which will take place in June.
