The transport sector is witnessing the development and adoption of new digital technologies at an increasingly rapid rate.
CIHT is interested in understanding if the average transport professional feels that they are equipped with the skills needed to embrace these new technologies, now and in the future.
Earlier this month, CIHT held a workshop with our Technical Champions and Emerging Professional Network to discuss what they believe to be the most important digital skills needed to futureproof today’s workforce. The group decided these digital skills were: Artificial Intelligence, data handling, stakeholder engagement, cyber security and GIS/spatial analysis.
