Proposed Changes in Annual Dues for Paraprofessional
Comments:
Currently the standard rates for voting members are based on gross salary. The standard rates are five increasing amounts ranging from $40 for those earning up to $30,000 per year to $165 for those earning $85,000 and up. The existing special rates are $20 for Library Students and $40 for Trustees, Retired, Unemployed/Transitional, Friend, Out of State and First-time members. There is at this time no special rate for paraprofessionals.
The intent of this special rate would be to encourage paraprofessionals to join CLA regardless of salary.
