With revision of the ICE 1100: Standard for Assessment-Based Certificate Programs, I.C.E. is proposing updates to our Basic Guide to Credentialing Terminology to:
(1) include terms relevant to the assessment-based certification programs, and
(2) edit select current terms so they were applicable to a broader range of credentialing options.
The purpose of the public comment period is to allow interested parties to submit written feedback based on the terminology updates. We are primarily looking for feedback on the definitions rather than additional terms to add.
