RE: Please Hold Utilities Responsible for Preventing Winter Rate Hikes

Dear CPUC President Reynolds:

People should not be faced with the choice of “heat or eat.” PG&E, SoCal Gas,
Edison, and SDG&E shut off power to people when they’re behind on their
utilities—forcing families from their homes and increasing the epidemic of
homelessness across California.
• Launch an investigation into price-gouging and negligence in
projecting demand—especially in winter!
• Investigate how SoCal Gas and PG&E manage supply and may
have been responsible for recent price spikes in natural gas.
• Adopt steps to prevent future rate hikes.
Please help keep California families in their homes and fight this outrageous behavior!

❐ I have shared my own personal story of outrageous bills on the other side.

Thank you,
