About the Risk Management Seminar

Each year, The Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange (OSBIE) hosts a Risk Management Seminar for a remarkable crowd of School Board delegates from across the province. Last year we were pleased to have 260 Educators, Facilities and School Board Administrators attend our seminar.

We’re looking for a wide array of topics that are innovative, engaging, inspiring, and informative.

Our goal is to offer relevant, timely education and training to help attendees do their jobs more effectively and to promote safe school practices.

This year, the Risk Management Seminar will be held on Friday October 18th, 2019 at the Sheraton Airport Hotel, 801 Dixon Rd., Toronto, Ontario.

Question Title

* 1. Proposal must be submitted for one the following tracks:

Risk Management Track - This track is focusing on current Risk Management issues facing Principals and Educators.

Organizational Track - This track is focusing on current issues for Human Resources and Superintendents.

Claims and Legal Track - This track will examine current trends in school board insurance claims.

Operations/Maintenance Track - These sessions focus on the issues that affect Maintenance and Facilities personnel.
