Introduction

The OPTA Safety and Training Committee was created by the OPTA Board of Directors in December 2025. OC Transpo Chief Safety Officer Sabrina Pasian volunteered to Chair the Committee. Laurie Krahl of Metrolinx and Karen Lusk of York Region Transit are the Vice Chairs.
