The IJIS Institute's inaugural Corrections Advisory Committee Information Technology Recognition, honors a team achievement for technical innovation between an industry partner(s) and one or more practitioner agencies that significantly contributed to the advancement of corrections information technology in the public sector. 

This process is an open competition. Neither nominators or nominees are required to be members of the IJIS Institute. If a government agency is the submitter, a letter approving the nomination must be submitted by the agency's Chief Information Officer or equivalent as part of the submission package.
