ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
-Certificate of journeyman for the Province of Ontario as a licensed electrician.
-Minimum of five (5) years electrical experience installing, operating and maintaining 600/220/110 volt distribution systems, transformers, branch circuitry, diesel generators, induction motors and electrical control circuits.
-Ability to perform duties requiring heavy lifting and working in non-air conditioned mechanical areas and confined spaces
-Must be willing to work shifts and/or weekends and on call Minimum Grade 12 education.
-College level Certification in related electrical field.
-Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
-Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
-Experience in the installation and operation of Building Automation Systems (Siemens)
-Working knowledge of HVAC systems
-Competent in office automation ( Word, Outlook, Excel) and associated computer skills
-Personal transportation to provide service response to both campuses..
-Satisfactory attendance.
