2017 AAHCM Board of Directors Nominations

The AAHCM Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for the 2017 HOPA Board of Directors election. The nominations deadline is May 1, 2017. Please take a few minutes to review the qualifications and responsibilities before making your nomination.

Nominations and self-nominations are being accepted for two At-Large Director positions and one President Elect.

Qualifications

All board nominees must be AAHCM members in good standing. We seek nominees who:
1. Understand AAHCM’s purpose, values, and strategic plan.
2. Have the desire to make significant contributions to the practice of home care medicine.
3. Have strong connections within the home care medicine communities.
4. Have strong organizational skills needed to provide oversight in aligning resources to the association’s strategic direction.

Each nominee will be assessed for certain key attributes, including:
1. Strong strategic, communication, and analytical skills.
2. Have the respect of key stakeholder groups, members, and peers.
3. Have the ability to work well with others as a member of a collaborative group
4. Demonstrate understanding of the fiduciary duties.
5. Have a reputation for emotional maturity, personal integrity, and honesty.
