WhiteStar Finance are really wanting to know, Do our clients or potential clients prefer a conversation or a computer / device?

WhiteStar invest time and money into people and communicating with people.  Should we be more like the banks and the bigger fintech brokers or do we still focus on conversation and knowing and listening to our customers?   After reading a recent article in the Financial Review “ Websites Out, Conversations In” on  9th April 2019 we are wondering if we are still right to believe in people and having the conversation even if it may be more costly to our business.  This article seems to indicate digital and software is great for some knowledge and comparison but to fully understand or to make a transaction we still want to deal with a person.

We know technology is growing and slowly replacing people for example McDonalds reducing the amount of customer service jobs.  Previously a brilliant way for the youth to learn and obtain a great work ethic, provide positive and confident communication skills and responsibility.  Reducing the opportunity to develop these skills of conversation in people what will it create?  Ordering a happy meal from a  kiosk to avoid a conversation may be great for the profits but is it great for the community?  Is lending heading that way too?  Conversation can create knowledge and knowledge is important to growth for all.

WhiteStar Brokers love talking to our clients and whether we can help or not it is easier for our customers and our team to chat with you.  This allows a mutual understanding and an opportunity to remove miscommunication or to miss something very important.  Also being able to speak to a person reasonably quickly and not having to repeat yourself.

We would love to know what you think, please share your thoughts and share with others around you to help us understand you better. Complete the survey to be in the chance to win a $50 gift voucher.
