Commercial Recycling and Organics Diversion

The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) has mandated that businesses and multi-family dwelling locations that meet a certain criteria or threshold are to have recycling programs at each location for recyclables and for organic materials (such as grass clippings and leftover food).  The mandate also states that each City and County is to keep track of which businesses are/are not recycling.  Please fill out this survey form completely.  If you have questions about the Assembly Bill 341 mandate or the Assembly Bill 1826 mandate, please visit the following pages.
