The Committee welcomes your input.

The House Government Efficiency and Legislative Oversight Committee seeks your input on the following South Carolina state agencies currently under study:

Conservation Bank;
Department of Employment and Workforce;
Department of Insurance;
Department of Vocational Rehabilitation;
Tuition Grants Commission;
Department of Education;
Administrative Law Court; and
State Law Enforcement Division.

The purpose of a legislative oversight study is to determine if agency laws and programs are being implemented and carried out in accordance with the intent of the General Assembly and whether or not they should be continued, curtailed, or eliminated. The Committee also recognizes that a legislative oversight study of an agency serves the purpose of informing the public about the agency.

This survey will accept responses until March 3, 2025. Responses to this survey are not considered testimony. Verbatim responses will be placed on the Committee's web page, and may be quoted in a Committee report. The Committee does not seek identifying personal information from those participating in the survey. The Committee only asks for some general characteristics. Your input and observations are very important to the Committee because they may help direct its Members to potential areas for improvement.
