Project Regional Educational Model for Online Technology Engagement

Project REMOTE provides the technology, technical assistance, and internet access to all Alaska Native or American Indian enrolled Tribal members who live in the Bering Strait region to learn by distance.

Project REMOTE services are available to Tribal Members in from middle school aged to adults.

Project REMOTE opportunity to pursue educational and learning goals from your home community without leaving your family or subsistence lifestyle.

If you are accepted into Project REMOTE, you will receive paid internet access, a computer and technical assistance. The Project will also provide accessories such as headphones, and software as requested by students and learners on a case-by-case basis.

The process to enroll in Project REMOTE begins with this application. There are 14 required questions.

High school students applying to Project REMOTE to take dual enrollment college must answer question 15.

Those applying to take college or higher education classes must answer questions 16 & 17.
