This training will also provide a 3.5 hour trauma-informed approach to integrate health assessment into DV agencies and other community based organizations. The curriculum explores: support for staff/capacity building and self-care; dynamics and health impact of DV/HT; the “CUES” evidence-based intervention to initiate conversations with patients; strategies for partnering with local advocacy programs; health centers and partnerships; and new approaches to incorporate health assessment.
