The world of work is rapidly changing. Skills needed for career success are evolving at the speed of technology and innovation. To ensure that we are meeting the needs of Ohio’s businesses, the Ohio Department of Education, Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, and Ohio Department of Higher Education have partnered to develop an “OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal". The seal is a formal designation a job-ready high school student can earn on his or her transcript and diploma by demonstrating the professional skills required for success in the 21st century workplace.
