BSDHT Professional Development & Education Needs Survey

The BSDHT Professional Development Working Group is gathering information to improve the Society’s understanding of the current education, skills and career development needs of dental hygienists and dental therapists.

Your responses will help shape how BSDHT continues to support its members in the provision of education and clinical skills e.g., refresh & refine programmes, postgraduate education signposting and wider professional development initiatives.

The survey takes approximately 7–10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous.

The data will be collated on an Excel spreadsheet and analysed by the members of the BSDHT Professional Development Working Group (PDWG). It will be stored on a password protected computer, to which only the members of the group will have access. The data will be stored for 24 months and will then be deleted. The data will be analysed by the PDWG and the findings reported to the BSDHT Executive and Council Teams.

The deadline for completion of the survey is Monday, 31st August 2026.
