Pro Bono Service for AICP CM Credits

The AICP Commission is evaluating ways to recognize pro bono (i.e. volunteer) service by AICP members. Our Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct clearly calls us to "contribute time and effort to groups lacking in adequate planning resources and to voluntary professional activities." Over the years, the Commission has received encouragement from members to allow Certification Maintenance (CM) credits for pro bono activities. The AICP Commission approved this concept at its February 2016 meeting.

Now the Commission invites your input on this draft plan.
The Commission will consider all comments as it finalizes this implementation plan.
