Macedon Ranges Shire Council is committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information you provide on our forms and surveys is being collected by Youth Services for the primary purposes of: processing expressions of interests and registrations for Youth Services’ programs, events and activities (forms) and gathering feedback to improve services and service delivery (surveys)¾or any other directly related purpose. The collection of this data will also enable Youth Services to provide inclusive and respectful services and communication with you. Where required, the personal information collected, will be provided to relevant Youth Services’ staff/contractors/funders or contracted service providers for the purposes of processing your expression of interest/registration, and improving services and service delivery.
If the personal information is not collected, we may be unable to process your expression of interest/confirm your registration for participation in Youth Services’ programs, events and activities. If you have concerns about what is collected and what personal information you are able to provide you can discuss this with a Youth Services’ team member via phone 5422 0333 or email youth@mrsc.vic.gov.au. Youth Services’ surveys are opt in, with a range of optional fields where you determine the scope of personal information you disclose or do not, in response to questions.
Your personal information will not be disclosed to any external party without your consent, unless required or authorised by law. If you wish to gain access to, or alter any personal information you have supplied on Youth Services’ forms or surveys please contact Macedon Ranges Shire Council via phone 5422 0333 or email mrsc@mrsc.vic.gov.au. Information provided will be stored in accordance with Council’s Record Management Policy and destroyed in accordance with the Public Records Act 1973.
