MI-AWWA's 82nd Annual Conference and Exhibits Call for Presentations

Do you have a presentation idea for the MI-ACE 2020 program? 

Program presentation abstracts for MI-ACE 2020 are being accepted for consideration until February 28, 2020.  If you are interested in presenting either an oral presentation; a panel discussion; or a student poster please provide an abstract for consideration.  Topic areas of interest to members include:
• Asset management
• Automation
• Data Science
• Design, Construction and Delivery
• Distribution practices
• Emerging Topics, New Technologies
• Finances, Affordability, and Rate Setting
• I & C
• IT
• Operations and maintenance
• Pump and valve maintenance
• Smart Water
• Source water or wellhead protection
• Storm water management
• Utility Planning and Management
• Utility Risk and Resilience, and Cybersecurity
• Water quality and sampling methods
• Water Treatment Processes
• Workforce development

Or your own fresh idea.

A presentation is 30-minutes in length and a panel discussion is 60-minutes in length (including time for questions.)  A presentation of 60-minutes may be considered.

* 4. Presentation Description (Describe the abstract and include general background information. Provide a brief summary of your presentation (2 paragraph or max 1000 words).

* 5. Now, boil your Presentation Description to two sentences.  If selected, this description will be included in the online program and mobile app.  (Character limit is 750, including punctuation and spaces.)

* 8. Provide at least three learning objectives of the presentation.  Begin your response with verbs such as: understand, demonstrate, learn, recognize, implement, assess, etc.  If selected, this information will be used in the mobile app.

* 9. Will you allow MI-AWWA to post a PDF version of your presentation as part of the online post conference proceedings?

* 10. In less than 200 words, provide a brief introduction of yourself that would be used to introduce you.  Include your professional qualifications, education, etc. (Submission of an introduction does not constitute automatic acceptance of a presentation.)
