The Association of Fundraising Professionals Chicago Chapter (AFP Chicago) is pleased to honor individuals who demonstrate high ethical standards and exemplify the philanthropic spirit of our great city.

Award Category Criteria: The President’s Award is presented to a fundraising professional who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the AFP Chicago Chapter. Nominations should include a list of Chapter accomplishments noting, in particular, the candidate's efforts to embrace and engage diverse individuals, groups, and organizations within the fundraising profession. Individuals who have won the Benjamin Franklin Award may be nominated for the President’s Award, if applicable. The AFP Chicago President’s Award is not bestowed posthumously. Nominees must be members of AFP Chicago.

Nominations Process:  Nominations for the President’s Award will be solicited from the Chapter’s Board of Directors, past honorees, and Chapter members. All nominations must be endorsed by current members of the AFP Chicago Chapter. Members of the Committee on Directorship and the AFP Chicago Chapter Board are eligible to submit award nominations and/or provide support for a nomination. Final submissions are due no later than September 7, 2022.

Presentation of Awards: The honoree selected will receive their award at the Annual Meeting on Friday, December 2, 2022. The honoree will be notified of their selection by October 7, 2022.
The honoree must be present to receive their award.
