Council is the peak body representing public school P&C’s in the ACT. From preschool to college years, Council reflects the parent voice in public education.

Early Education and Transitions
Research tells us that a child’s early years experiences of educational transitions - to and from preschool and kindergarten – can impact their future educational outcomes. Translating this knowledge into action is challenging and dependent on feedback from children, families and educators.

How parents and carers are helping
Council is currently exploring the 'transition to school' experiences of ACT parents with children in preschool and kindergarten years. The data will help to identify opportunities to improve outcomes for children and will be available to participants, parent associations (P&C's) and educators.
