Indian Country PrEP ECHO Fall 2021 |
Purpose: Clinicians serving American Indian and Alaska Native people are invited to participate in the Indian Country PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) ECHO program. The program provides comprehensive information for clinicians to effectively integrate PrEP services in Indian Health Service, Tribal, and Urban Indian clinics. The 6 session program will offer a free ECHO collaborative to continue learning, knowledge sharing and support as you start integrating PrEP. Topics include rationale for PrEP, indications and contraindications for PrEP, how to start PrEP, monitoring patients while on PrEP/addressing complications, and recruiting for PrEP candidates. CE will be provided.
Who should apply: Physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health specialists or others interested in learning new skills to effectively integrate PrEP services, are invited to attend.
Where: All sessions take place virtually using the zoom platform.
When: The PrEP ECHO virtual clinics will be held *every Friday from 12-1pm PT, November 5th-December 17th. *Please note there will not be a session November 26th due to the holiday.
To participate in Indian Country PrEP ECHO we invite participants to commit to attending all 6 sessions, submit cases, and participate actively.
