The Monitoring Team is seeking public comment on the final draft of BPD Policy 1809, designed to ensure compliance of BPD members with their solemn obligation to disclose potential exculpatory and impeachment evidence in criminal cases. The Second-Year Monitoring Plan calls for public comments on this proposed policy. In combination with the Department of Justice and the Monitoring Team, BPD will consider these public comments before the policy is finalized. The second and final comment period for Policy 1809 is open through August 27, 2019.
