Through a grant provided by the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) to improve immunization rates in adults across the state, the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians (NJAFP) is pleased to present this important webinar addressing the pneumococcal immunization recommendations released by the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Topics addressed will include a review of the 2015 recommendations, impact on patients and practice team, and the use of standing orders for administering the pneumococcal vaccine.

Former director of the New Jersey Center for Public Health Preparedness and current adjunct professor at UMDNJ, Dr. DiFerdinando is a specialist in chronic disease epidemiology with over 20 years of public health practice experience.
