Place Making Mooloolaba |
Sunshine Coast Council is working to define the vision for Mooloolaba through an innovative and exciting ‘Place Making’ process.
Place making is an integrated and collaborative approach of working with communities to create exciting places. Council is committed to developing a vision for Mooloolaba that captures its uniqueness and creates an exciting, attractive and sustainable place to live, work and play.
We are keen to hear from you, the Mooloolaba community, to gain a better understanding of your values, needs and hopes for the future of this area.
Your feedback will help council develop a master plan for Mooloolaba, which aims to:
Reflect the community’s vision, priorities and hopes for the future of Mooloolaba
- Define an identity and sense of place for Mooloolaba
- Provide a blueprint for the ‘look and feel’ of Mooloolaba’s streets and public open spaces
- Prepare for the addition of future public transport, pedestrian, cycling and traffic improvements
- Identify and prioritise any upgrade works.
Submissions close Monday 26 May 2015 at 5pm.
