The Carson City Airport Authority has begun the process to create a strategic plan. The strategic plan will provide guidance for future financial and operational decisions. It will chart a course for creating an airport that maximizes it’s impact on the region, while at the same time, satisfying the needs of its users. The first step in the planning process is to gather information from its stakeholders - fixed base operators, hangar tenants, hangar owners, pilots, the business community, government agencies and the community at large. This survey will provide important input that will be used to develop a list of the Carson City Airport’s (CXP) internal strengths and weaknesses, opportunities that may lie ahead and threats we may be faced with in the future.
