Purpose of Survey

In advance of the October federal election, the government is announcing sweeping changes to Prescription Drug Coverage in Canada.  What can you do to make sure these changes help and not hurt your ability to access the drugs you need now and in the future?

Have your say!  Over the next several weeks, the Canadian Organization for Rare Disorders (a patent-led registered charity serving about 100 patient group members) and the Consumer Advocare Network (a Canadian forum for patient groups) will host webinars and conduct surveys to inform patients and public about proposed changes and to provide an opportunity for individuals to share their opinions.

The interim Pharmacare report proposes three basic elements:
  • Create a national drug agency
  • Develop a comprehensive, evidence-based national formulary
  • Invest in drug data and information technology (IT) systems
This initial survey addresses principles for a national formulary.  It will take about 5 to 7 minutes to complete.  Your answers are confidential and will NOT be stored, analyzed, or reported with any identifying information. All feedback will be summarized as part of a public-accessible report and submission to all political parties.

Thank you in advance for your participation.
