PhD/Master's Student and Researcher Workshop 2026: Expression of Interest Form
The Centre of expertise on child sexual abuse (CSA Centre) is inviting PhD/Master's student and practitioner researchers – at any stage of their research journey – to join a friendly and participative one-day workshop at London Metropolitan University on Tuesday 19th May 2026
.
What you can expect from the workshop:
a unique opportunity to present your work to a small knowledgeable multi-disciplinary group of fellow students and academics
collective support and constructive challenges on your studies, reflecting on prevention, intervention, the criminal justice process, disruption, and support for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse
become part of a wider and supportive community of researchers and discuss ways to share your findings with wider audiences
The structure of the day:
The day will include seminar type presentations with students presenting their work to a small group of fellow researchers with time for discussion and reflection. Presentations can focus on early results but equally on challenges faced in terms of concepts, research design, methods, ethics – whatever would be useful to talk about in depth. Students are also welcome to present their work in any format they prefer.
How to get involved:
To apply to attend the workshop, please complete the following expression of interest form by Wednesday 29th April 2026.
Note:
To get the most out of the day we would encourage all participants to present. If you would like to do this, please indicate so on the form and submit a short summary of your presentation topic in Question 4 of this form.
Please feel free to contact
Dr Jasmin Tregidga
or
