2022-23 Parent/Guardian Permission Student Advisory Council

Introduction

The Philadelphia STEM Equity Collective (PSEC) seeks to create a social framework for change; specifically seeking to increase the number of women, Black and Latinx Philadelphia students going into STEM careers by 2030. The goal of the PSEC Student Advisory Council is to guide the efforts of the Collective through the student voice. The twelve members of the Council will help guide strategies and provide feedback on their effectiveness for the beneficiaries of the Collective.

To reach the PSEC’s goal, we understand that all stakeholders must be present; student attendance and input is critical to the success of the PSEC goals. Student participation is so important that two students from the Council will be part of the PSEC Steering Committee. We appreciate your honest perspective on the student you are recommending.
