What is Operation BRAVE?
The Operation BRAVE (Bexar Co. Response and Victory in Ending the Epidemic) Peer Program is an opportunity to serve your community by providing factual based HIV prevention and treatment information.
How long is the program?
One semester long program.
What do BRAVE Peers do?
- Become leaders within the community.
- Become advocates for HIV and sexual health.
- Participate in training workshops that will increase leadership skills.
- Increase their knowledge on HIV prevention and treatment.
- Provide information and support to the community.
Is this a paid opportunity?
Yes, Peers can earn $500+/month!
Payment is received upon participation and completion of program events, referrals made to care, creating content and more.
