CAEP CPD - Ultrasound Course

1.Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Course

Dear CAEP Member,

We are designing a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Course for General Emergency Medicine physicians.

As part of this process, we are asking for your input by completing this brief survey. The survey asks you which PEM POCUS applications you would be interested in learning. We anticipate no risk to your participation in this study. No benefits will be provided to you other than having access to the results of this study with the hopes of improving your PEM POCUS skillset.

Your participation is completely voluntary and anonymous.  Your completion of this survey indicates your consent for enrolment in this study.

Ultimately, the curriculum will be decided based on these results, expert opinion, overlap with adult applications, the feasibility of teaching and potential clinical impact.

We look forward to your input and sharing PEM POCUS with you. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Allan Shefrin, the principal investigator.

Sincerely,
