2019 ULI Washington Pathways to Inclusion Application

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a nonprofit education and research institute supported by its members. Its mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Established in 1936, the institute has more than 40,000 members worldwide representing all aspects of land use and development disciplines.

The Pathways to Inclusion Initiative is designed to broaden ULI membership and expand the professional networks of minority real estate and land use professionals in Washington, D.C. We believe that by diversifying our membership we can better fulfill our organization's mission to create and sustain thriving communities.

The Pathways to Inclusion Initiative will provide up to 25 people of  color a scholarship to the 2019 Fall Meeting to be held in Washington D.C. from September 18 - 21, 2019 in addition to a one-year ULI membership. Membership and Fall Meeting registration are valued at more than $2,700.  The annual Fall Meeting brings together over 6,000 land use and real estate professionals from around the globe.  The program will also provide a suggested track of programming at the Fall Meeting to direct the participants toward sessions that will focus on their interests.  At the conclusion of the meeting, the program will provide additional opportunities to reinforce access and engagement as a ULI member throughout the year.
