Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering for the Parade on Thursday, October 2nd!! We are looking for ~50 volunteers to assist us between 5:00PM and 8:30PM. Please share with any friends/family who may want to help support this cherished community event.
- Volunteers will be assigned to either help coordinate the lineup at Shetland Park, attend the pedestrian crossing areas along the route, or keep the audience from going beyond the safety barriers.
- All volunteers are asked to attend a Volunteer Coordination Meeting at the Salem Police Station on Tuesday, September 30th at 2PM. We will discuss event details, day-of logistics, & parade safety. Looking to volunteer but cannot attend the meeting? Email Jeff@salem-chamber.org.
- Volunteers will be provided an orange "Volunteer" T-Shirt to wear while volunteering (and to keep afterwards)!

- Parade Day Info: On parade day (Thurs, Oct 2), all volunteers are asked to meet us at the entrance to Shetland Park (27 Congress Street) by 5:00PM where you will be given your assignment for the evening and orange "Volunteer" t-shirt which you can wear over your outfit.
