Learning Objective:
1) Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the importance of competitive employment for transition- age youth with physical disabilities, specifically cerebral palsy.
2) Upon completion, participants will be able to understand best practices for job development and job customization.
3) Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the components of customized employment including the impact of assistive technology and job accommodations on employment outcomes.
4) Upon completion, participants will be able to discuss how physicians and other practitioners can assist in facilitating employment outcomes.
