You are among a selected group of stakeholders belonging to the private sector, academia, civil societies and associations. Your participation is critical to explore how tourism stakeholders are effectively contributing to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in companies, institutions or destinations.
Your engagement is especially relevant considering that 2020 will mark the beginning of the decade of action towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. SDG achievement is a ‘one UN’ priority and your feedback will be extremely valuable for UNWTO, its members and the societies and communities that well-managed tourism can support.
In fact, we trust that the outcomes of this survey will contribute to further empower tourism stakeholders to incorporate sustainability measures and policies in their daily work and objectives.
The results of the survey will be published in a report in 2020 and Your feedback will serve to:
i) determine the current levels of a) awareness and b) engagement of the tourism sector regarding the 2030 Agenda and achieving its 17 SDGs
ii) identify current business policies and strategies addressing the SDGs
iii) identify best practices and activities addressing the SDGs
