This year, 25 STEM Innovation grants are available for eligible teams. Previously known as our Title I grants, these grants are created for teams from school-wide designated Title I schools who are interested in competing in the American Rocketry Challenge for the first time. Grantees will receive a registration fee waiver, $2,000 in grant support, and additional mentorship. You can read more about our STEM Innovation grant program on our website.

This grant application is to be filled out by the teacher agreeing to be the team's adult advisor. In order to complete this grant application, you need an official team number. To receive your team number, create a free account at https://rocketcontest.smapply.io/ .

The advising teacher must complete this grant application prior to completing the full team registration.

If you are selected as a grant recipient, we will contact you with further instructions on waiving your registration fee.

Selection is made on a first-come, first-served basis. Grant applications will be selected and awarded on a rolling basis. You will be notified of your grant status a few weeks after applying. All applications must be submitted no later than December 12, 2022 at 11:59pm Eastern Time. Applications will close on December 12th or when all the scholarships have been distributed, whichever comes first.
