CDBG / HOME Housing & Neighborhood Activities

The City of Billings - Community Development Division is seeking feedback on neighborhood priorities relative to proposed projects for the upcoming year. All of the programs below benefit low-income households or those experiencing poverty.

Housing Rehabilitation: Zero-interest, no payment loans to help homeowners make needed repairs.

Foreclosure Acquisition / Rehabilitation: City purchases vacant, foreclosed homes to rehabilitate and sell to low-income households.

AmeriCorps VISTA: Full-year and summer volunteers to assist agencies in building capacity to impact poverty.

First Time Home Buyer: Zero-interest, no payment loans to help low-income households purchase their first home.

Affordable Housing Development: Funds to assist in new affordable housing development (multi- and single-family).
