Encouraging Fruit and Veg at your Local for Children

“This project focuses on food served to children at their local eating venue. Our overall aim is to improve nutritional options, which are cost effective, for meals away from home in Castlemaine.”

Dear Participant,

I invite you to participate in a research project entitled: Encouraging Fruit and Veg at your Local for Children. Paige and Jennifer are currently enrolled in the Masters of Dietetics program at Latrobe University in Bundoora, Melbourne, and are in the process of undertaking a research project combined with Castlemaine Health Dietitians.

The enclosed questionnaire has been designed to collect information on: the need/want for more fruit and vegetables on kid’s menus at local restaurants and pubs.

Your participation in this project is completely voluntary. You may decline altogether, or leave blank any questions you don’t wish to answer.

If you agree to participate in this project, please answer the questions on the questionnaire as best you can. It should take approximately 2 minutes to complete. Thank you for your assistance in this important endeavor.

Sincerely yours,

Paige North and Jenifer Tsoutsoulis
