Business Visitation Program Survey: City of Hollywood & the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce

Business Visitation Program Survey

The City of Hollywood recognizes the value existing businesses bring to our local economy. Our businesses have made investments in facilities, created jobs, and provided a support network that anchors our local economy.

Recognizing this value, the City of Hollywood, through the Office of Communications, Marketing, and Economic Development, and the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, has launched a joint Business Visitation Program. The program seeks to enhance communication between the City, Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and the business community, to introduce the community to contacts and create opportunities to voice concerns and discuss how the City and Chamber can work with Hollywood business owners to facilitate retention and growth.

The objective of the program is to enable the City and Chamber to:

·Introduce ourselves to the businesses in the City of Hollywood

·Meet with owners and operators to learn more about business operations, future plans, business issues, problems, and barriers to business operation within Hollywood

·Assist us in establishing longer-term economic development priorities by gathering information that will help reduce business costs, improve competitiveness, enhance infrastructure and increase & develop viable local and export markets

·Connect local companies with resources for growth and networking opportunities

·Discuss services and resources available to the business community through the City, County, and/or State

·With the enhanced communication and knowledge acquired, the City and the Chamber will be better equipped to represent the interests of Hollywood businesses
