Implementing OAB requires patience and time.   To ensure your clinic is successful setting up online booking, please complete the following 'readiness' survey. 
 
This will help determine:
  • Your clinic's ability to successfully implement OAB in the required timeline
  • Gaps in areas you might require extra support
  • Your clinic's ability to complete mandatory monthly reporting

* 2. What Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system do you use?

* 3. How many staff are at your site?

* 4. Does your clinic currently collect and/or communicate with patients via email and/or via EMR platforms like OCEAN, Pomelo, Medeo, etc.?

* 5. How many schedules (i.e. licenses) from your site would this funding support with online booking? (example: each license = 1 schedule. Each clinician has their own schedule.)

* 6. Please identify who from your clinic is interested in using OAB.  Please identify NAME and ROLE.  This is crucial in order to understand how the licenses will be used. View funding criteria here.

* 7. What Online Appointment Booking solution are you planning to use?

* 8. The overall implementation from initial meeting with your clinic, training, account set up, schedule set up, identifying and training your superuser etc., will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks on average.

This would include 4-5 one-hour long meetings, and ~5-10 hours of training, configuration and set-up for the site “super user” (time commitment varies based on clinic readiness and previous experience).

Though you will receive some supports, it’s important for us to know how confident are you in your site having the capacity (i.e. time and resources) to complete implementation.

It is crucial to identify someone (such as a SuperUser who will onboard new appointment types, be the administrator in the backend as required, train other staff) from your clinic who will lead this work internally with your team.  Please provide the name and role of the individual who will be leading this work for you. This person should have full Admin access and be very well versed in your EMR.

* 10. Are you/your clinic prepared to incur ongoing costs of the licenses after March 31st, 2023?  Costs will be dependent on the solution selected and the number of licenses.
