Information and Consent
Dear participant,
Thank you for your interest in this survey on the awareness of video streaming’s environmental impact. The study is conducted by the researchers of the Department of Communication, University of Vienna, as part of the Horizon Europe funded StreamSCAPES project.
This survey is conducted among people aged 16-40+ across Europe to find out their thoughts about the sustainability of video streaming. The questionnaire takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Participation in the survey is voluntary. You can refuse to participate without having to give a reason or withdraw your agreement to participate once the study has already started. There will be no negative consequences for you.
The survey data will be completely anonymous and no one can be recognised from the data. Please do not insert on open fields any information from which you can be identified. The researchers will manage your responses carefully.
Responses will be used as data in a research report submitted to the European Commission and in scholarly publications.
