Age-Friendly Joondalup
The Age-Friendly Joondalup project will build a picture of how age-friendly the City of Joondalup is and will assist in identifying potential areas for improvement. It is based on the World Health Organisation’s Age Friendly City eight domains:
· Housing
· Communication and information
· Social participation
· Community support and health services
· Respect and social inclusion
· Outdoor spaces and buildings
· Civic participation and employment
· Transportation
This project is part of an Age-Friendly Region initiative; a partnership between the Cities of Joondalup, Wanneroo and Stirling and is supported by the Department of Local Government and Communities.
