The City of Riverside Public Works Department invites City of Riverside high school students to participate in the Public Works Student Art Contest.

This year’s theme is Road Safety. Students are encouraged to create original artwork that promotes road safety and highlights the importance of safe, active transportation in our community.
Artwork should reflect the experience of people who are walking, skating, skateboarding, biking, or using wheelchairs, and may also highlight the health benefits of active transportation. Entries should include road safety elements such as crosswalks, traffic signals, helmets, bike lanes, or other safety features.

All artwork must be submitted by Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
