Join the committee to make our Phoenix World Burn Congress possible!

Phoenix World Burn Congress has its own program committee composed of community volunteers representing diverse voices, lived experiences, and roles in the community. This committee is responsible for guiding the programming content that is offered at Phoenix WBC and identifying potential speakers. This committee generally consists of 6-8 members who work together from the initial program planning stages through on-site PWBC support. Attendance at PWBC is not required but is encouraged. Committee members will be chosen based on the goal of creating a committee that best represents community diversity, variety of community roles, and program needs.

Applications are due by December 2nd. Committee selections will be notified by December 9th.

* Commitment to the role means attending monthly/bi-weekly meetings over zoom that are about 60 min in length from the beginning of 2023 through the week of Phoenix WBC (October 7th, 2023).

Once the committee is chosen, we will work to find an available time for all members. There will also be tasks required outside of the committee meetings, like researching speakers, new content areas, contacting speakers, developing outlines, etc. This work will be heavier in the early part of the year and will taper off once our program is solidified.  Can you commit to being fully present for meetings and be willing to help with tasks outside of meeting times?
