The minimum for eligibility is three years of volunteer service. Nominees who do not meet the minimum years of service may be submitted for consideration; however, nominators must clearly demonstrate the nominee's breadth and impact of service.

Note that such nominations are not automatically approved and will be assessed by the selection committee.
